Manual install notes

Use these steps when the client cannot reach the update endpoint.

  1. Download the installer from your approved host. Save it next to the signed manifest file.
  2. Verify the SHA-256 matches the manifest or the checksums.txt / checksums.json file.
  3. Run the installer and keep the manifest for audit records.

Verify Windows signature

  1. Right-click the installer and open Properties.
  2. Open the Digital Signatures tab and confirm the signer.
  3. Use PowerShell for a detailed status check.
